Kerris Clarke

Kerris has been part of the team here at The Physiotherapy Clinic for the last 20 years and has over 25 years’ experience as a Physiotherapist.

Early in her career whilst working for the NHS, Kerris specialised in neuromusculoskeletal problem becoming the hand specialist for the regional hand unit at Lister Hospital in Stevenage. In this position she worked closely with both Hand Consultants and plastic surgeons and was involved with the clinical education of both undergraduate student training and other junior staff.

She is motivated in her day to day work to help people get better and reach their own goals which is why she has undertaken further training to enhance her skills. One area that she has excelled in is vestibular rehabilitation, which we offer as an additional service to our clients. She has also trained in the use of acupuncture which she finds invaluable for relieving pain and muscle spasms.

With a keen interest in sports injuries Kerris has worked with Welwyn Rugby Club as the team physio for 5 years and more recently with young gymnasts at Marriotts Gymnastics Club gaining invaluable experience in acute injuries.
