Kerris Clarke

Physiotherapist

Having qualified as a physiotherapist in 1991, Kerris began her career within the NHS, where she developed a strong clinical foundation across a wide range of conditions. During this time, she went on to specialise in hand therapy, gaining valuable expertise in the assessment and treatment of complex upper limb conditions.

After several years in the NHS, she joined Physio Clinic WGC, where she has become a longstanding and highly valued member of the team. With decades of experience behind her, she brings both depth of knowledge and a calm, reassuring approach to patient care.

Alongside her clinic work, she has also been involved with a local rugby club, supporting players with injury management, rehabilitation and return to sport. This has given her a practical understanding of the physical demands of sport and the importance of tailored recovery.

Following her own experience with an inner ear issue, she developed a particular interest in vestibular rehabilitation and went on to complete further training in this area. This personal insight, combined with her clinical expertise, allows her to provide effective support for patients experiencing dizziness and balance-related conditions.

Her treatment approach combines hands-on physiotherapy with additional techniques such as acupuncture, which she uses to support pain relief and enhance recovery as part of her physiotherapy practice.

Passionate about helping people regain confidence in their bodies, she finds real satisfaction in guiding patients through their recovery journey — whether that’s returning to sport, work or everyday activities. Outside of work, she enjoys cold water swimming, which supports resilience and wellbeing, reformer Pilates to maintain strength, flexibility and control, and has recently taken up line dancing for its benefits in balance, coordination and overall fitness. These interests reflect her belief in the importance of staying active, adaptable and engaged at every stage of life.

Her focus is always on delivering personalised care that helps each individual move better, feel stronger and achieve their goals.
